The current economy has so many people desperately seeking ways to make additional money. Offers to make tens of thousands of dollars arrive in my inbox daily (hint: if someone spams you a business opportunity WATCH OUT – run don’t walk away!). There are lots of ways to make money online. Let me rephrase that, lots of LEGITIMATE ways of making money online. There are even more get rich quick opportunities (scams) BEWARE!
Just remember all that glitters is not gold!

A friend of mine received an email about one of these online businesses that promises a very huge profit. So he tried it. But it was more of a scam business. He was asked for a fee in return with the products he would sell online. I don’t really understand the deal between them. All I know is that the huge profit was just a come-on. So Beware, really! Being successful and rich doesn’t happen with just a blink of an eye. Have to work for it..
I had encountered a scam like that before. It wasn’t actually online. I was told to go to an office for orientation. Then when I was there, they talked about really nice things once you’re part of the company. Said that I have to give a certain amount then I would be given a “bag of goodies”. I would have done that. Good thing, I don’t have money yet. Then the next day, an acquaintance told me that that company is just a scam.
Lesson:
Don’t ever enter into something that you don’t have enough knowledge about. Especially if they ask you money in return.
I agree with the article and the given comments. Everyone has to be cautious in order not to easily get scammed because there are some who are really very good in talking and giving false promises.
