Affiliate programs are a great way to make more money from your site. You don’t need to add, nor should you add programs that will compete with your main product, but affiliate programs should definitely have a place in your marketing plan. True! I went to a cake making site before. I was looking for a cake design. The site was a bit famous. But then, I think they have too much affiliate programs. Not that it’s a bad thing. What struck me was a program regarding another topic that I think shouldn’t be there at all! And it’s really an attention-grabber because it’s a bit big. Anyways, the site is still good except for that part..
I agree with this article.. Some site owners uses affiliate programs to gain profit. That’s okay. But the problem is that they have too much of it that it becomes a pain in the eye. And sometimes, it is not even related to the site itself. Not a good marketing strategy..
